Apple feedback regarding 8800GT

Lets let Apple know that some of us are upset about the 8800GT not being backwards compatible with first gen MPs

Why don't we all just wait until someone actually checks that they aren't compatible before clogging their system with complaints which could be all bogus!

...and that same tech note has already been proven incorrect by someone on this forum who used a 2600XT in the older Mac Pro and it worked fine. Take Apple's tech notes with a grain of salt, they aren't always 100% accurate (using 3rd party memory as an example). Some are written towards the uninformed masses to get them to buy "Apple-only" products.

Just bringing this up again since it looks there's no intention to give us a card for our old MPs.

Remember they gave the 1900XT to G5 PM owners because they complained, and they gave money back to first iphone users because they complained.
