Hey everyone,
i recently installed final cut studio on my iMac model 8,1
has 2.4GhZ CPU and 1GB ram. Not huge but will be plenty for this software.

I know also that it has a ATI graphics card.

Once i had installed it i launched it and it came up with an error message saying "missing APG graphics card"
i quickly found the solution by following the steps below:

In Finder go to the Final Cut application, right click and choose "Show Package Contents" From there find the file "Info.plist". Open it in Text Edit (or Property List Editor if you have Developer tools installed. Find the string that says AGP, and change AGP to PCI.

This worked and allowed me to launch final cut 4 to the starter box displaying "FINAL CUT PRO 4" but it only didnt launch completely and instead froze at the point where it says "loading: audio filters"

When i installed final cut pro it did install the whole studio (live type, final cut pro4, soundtrack, cinema tools) all the programs work except final cut 4!!

plz help!

Please help!!!:apple:
