Apple finally solved the size problem, how do we get it on the iMac?

With the new retina Macbooks, Apple finally solved the size problem that made me sell my 27" iMac, and I'm sure many people suffer from it as well. The problem is that the high resolution makes stuff seem very small, too small for many people to read and see comfortably. On the iMac, it's almost bearable, with the new retina Macbook it's impossible. So, similar to the DPI setting in Windows, Apple did the same on the retina Macbook, where instead of resolution settings, you have size settings. So far so good, but I want this in my iMac as well. Is there anyway to get that setting imported to the iMac?
