Apple fitness downloadable to watch?

Can you download apple Fitness plus workouts and it’s time to run episodes onto the watch so that I don’t need to bring my iPhone with me to my outdoor running sessions? I like their variable country runs on apple fitness plus, it really motivated me to run 6 miles the other day, which I haven’t done in likely years.

I thought the time to run episodes could only be downloaded and played from the watch… I have used them a few times. Look at Fitness+ on your phone and select the ones you want, they are instantly available

Doesn't it already come with the watch?
