Apple gave me Apple care... By mistake

I went to the apple store today because I was having issues with my 3G. Afterwords I told the Genius that I only had 1 week left on my warranty, and then he told me that I already have Apple care. I didn't buy it, and I told him that. He and I laughed and he said 'well it's there to stay'.

So thanks Apple for free apple care.

Congrats. The same sort of thing happened on my old Powerbook, ended up saving me a couple hundred dollars in battery replacements.
