All right here is my question maybe someone can answer this for me. My PB 12" bottom casing has a dent on the left side of it. (Don't ask what happened, as I'm very anal about my machines) I was wandering if I buy the bottom case will genius bar install it for me or do I need to order it from them. The reason I ask this question is I would do it myself but the serial number is on the casing. As If I replace it myself and then later down the road my HDD goes and they look at the s/n and it's missing..

I do not know if they would do it, but you could always call a store and ask.
In case you were wandering or anything. ;)

Yeah, every time I call the Delaware store I get different answers. So I was hoping someone here can clarify this.

You can always buy the replacement part and they will fix it. However, cases are expensive and the labor won't be cheap.

If everything works, I'd just keep it as-is.
