I couldn't think what this would be listed under, so I thought that I would ask everyone here. So, here is the situation. We just bought a new 1.6 Ghz G5 about a week ago. I know that Apple has a price guarantee. (If a product is updated within a certain timeframe, don't they refund you x amount?) Does anyone know what it is and if have a link for it to apple's site? We actually bought it at a mac dealer and not at apple. Any info would be helpful.

Thank you all.

I'd call Apple and/or the dealer. The pricing will likely be up to the dealer since he was the point-of-sale.

Apple has a 10 day money back guarentee. Send it back TODAY and get a full refund. From there buy the new 1.8 dual. Your not going to save any money but you will get a better computer.

you have to pay 10% re-stocking fee to outright return the computer. apple may or may not match the prices or give you an upgrade within that period...
