Apple Hardware Test Help

ok so I have the DMG of the Apple Hardware test and Applications DVD. but my problem is it wont fit on a regular DVD. Is there anyway I can slim it down, I only need the Hardware test. IDK if i am posting this in the right section any help would be nice.

Why not use CarbonCopyCloner to clone the mounted DMG to an external HDD or even USB flash memory thumb drive and then boot from that?

Don't you have your system disks? AHT is on those and you just need to boot that up.
