Apple hardware test

I am looking for a copy of the apple hardware test to download for my imac6.1. It came installed with tiger and came with apple hardware test 3A113. Unfortunately I dont have the original discs. I am running snow leopard, and the discs I have do nothing

Can any one help me with a copy of this.

The ONLY way you can get AHT is by replacing the original Install Discs. The cost is nominal and you will need to contact AppleCare to order them. You will need the serial number and a credit card.

I've got a problem with my sound and want to test with AHT if it is possible. Will it be able to tell me if there is a problem with myv specific hardware or not?
What other software if any can I use?
