"Apple CEO Steve Jobs will unveil a new consumer product that is "innovative, revolutionary and different" during his keynote speech at Macworld Expo, San Francisco on January 7, the company has revealed. "


Doesn't this sound like every product that Jobs announces?!

But still, I think we're gonna see an LCD iMac debut. I wonder how much it will really cost?
 
Sound's like a certain Dutch General Manager is about to experience the wrath of Jobs - lets hope the Dutch job market is doing OK ;)

is it possible?

not to long back, I read that the supposed new iMac will start at $999 US. IS it possible that apple mat still hold on to the old $799 US model for the lower end?
 
Expect a Combo Drive...

Now that Apple has found a slot-loading combo drive for the TiBook, you can probably expect it in the iMac too.
 
Give us the goods!

Come on apple release something that everybody will want!

I would really like to see a combo drive in an iMac.

they did have the low-end mac starting at $999 for about 2 months, then made a lower version with just a cd drive in it and smaller hard drive, less ram, and put it at $799

this was the end of last summer.
