iPad mini Apple has no intention of selling minis

100 less for same thing and no Touch ID? No brainer.

Only 50 more for a7 and retina over 512mb/a5/1024x768. Also no brainer.

Mini sales were lacking too.

My rMini is even more heroic today

I don't really understand marketing and selling the Mini 3 if all it has is gold and Touch ID. For a hundred more — really?

This is a tremendous insult, and yes, it's great it lowers the price of the rMini, but I had hoped something more like the Air 2 update by shaving some girth and making it lighter.

Completely disappointing.

If you never owned an ipad and want to buy the mini which would you recommend now? Ipad mini 2 for the cheaper price? I don't want the bigger one. I am thinking the 32Gb one.
