Apple has taken payment on a 4/6 week delivery

Just got an Amex push notification that Apple have taken payment for my watch even through I'm on the 4/6 week delivery window.

Is this some covert signal that the order is closer to shipping early? Anyone else had this?
 
That's a good sign. Give it an hour or two and see if you go into "Preparing for Shipment."
 
Check your status in 30-60 minutes and see if it has changed to "preparing for shipment." If so, it would be good news.

Same has happened to me.

I ordered a 42mm SS Milanese for the 4/24-8/5 window, and a 42mm Sport with white strap for a 4-6 week wait.

Both have just been charged.

I'm waiting for a 'pics or it didn't happen'... :rolleyes:

Only proof I have is a drop in my available balance:

You would then see my bank balance,
You would then have to trust me when I say what my overdraft is,
You would then have to trust me when I say available balance was higher before.
 
Well THAT would be a big deal! What time was said watch(es) in that 4/6 week time window ordered at?
 
I am calling BS, but I would be happy to be wrong. Until we start seeing a few more people I just don't believe that the 4-6week group is getting charged.
 
When this starts happening the forum will go crazy, and it will happen with many people, just like yesterday.

Edit: I must say not being believed and not being able to prove yourself is absolutely unbelievably infuriating.

I've seen a couple of instances where people have been charged for their wave 1 watch AND a wave 2 watch as well. But not a wave 2 watch only.
