Apple HDMI Adapter

Hi there!

I'm considering buying an HDMI adapter for my iPad since I've got a subscription in a sports app which makes me able to watch soccer games etc. However, the app doesn't support Airplay but the videos are also available on the internet in Safari. My question is, will Safari embedded videos show in full screen on my 40" Samsung TV? I know everything about the aspect ratio between the iPad and TV not being the same, but I've heard that videos will be converted to fullscreen, does this work in Safari as well?

There surely must be somebody who got an adapter and knows if full screen is supported in safari videos?

I don't know about the HDMI adapter (and I don't know what that adapter has to do with Airplay), but yes, while using Airplay with an AppleTV2, Safari videos will play full screen on the TV.
