apple headset paring

Hey guys

I have an apple headset and have paired it to my iphone fine
i have also paired it to my macbook pro fine.

The issue is when ever i switch one to the other i need to repair
is this a bug or somthing i am missing or a limitation to the headset.

i did have a jawbone and was able to do it with that.
figured it would work with the apple headset also.

thanks just want to know if its me a or a limmitation
