Hi all

Long time Garmin/Strava user, still trying to get into the groove of the Apple ecosystem. I'm keen to make the complete data transition to Apple Health as I've transitioned to an Apple Watch. For recording workouts I use WOD. However, for reviewing historical data trends/graphs/etc Apple Health is pretty terrible.

What are some alternatives? I am keen to exit away from Strava - I don't use their social feed system anyway.

Some apps I've tried:

- Apple Health - very basic chart data. Limited customization. No ads but too much noise in the app with other app suggestions, Articles, etc.

- HealthFit - Pretty good but still missing some custom calendar views, import of workout titles from Strava, could offer more customization of the dashboard

- Personal Best - Limited functionality compared to HealthFit.

- RunGap - good for migrating data between platforms but not simplistic enough to use as everyday workout data app

Basically as I'm keen to move to Apple Health data, I'm looking for an app that reads the data from Apple Health similar to HealthFit or Personal Best. Any other apps to try?

Interesting service, haven’t seen that one thank you. Odd no iPhone app and pulls data from Strava and Garmin Connect - both platforms I want to migrate away from.

Any other suggestions?

it does more imports like Healthfit and Rungap. So you could import anything recorded on the Apple Watch via Rungap for example.

I’m also a Garmin and Apple person so I rely on Rungap a lot. Intervals.icu is good for true performance coaching. If you want something closer to Garmin‘s body battery, etc - check out Athlytic.

If you’re willing to pay a subscription, RunGap can export to Garmin Connect

@TTTedP Thank you for the Athlytic suggestion. I downloaded it and gave the trial a go... unfortunately not for me. Lots of metrics and data around sleep/recovery/etc. Ironically nothing about map/elevation data which is just as important as most of my workouts are outdoors/running/cycling. Plus not keen on subscription model.

@msackey Thx - thought of this however I never liked Garmin Connect and prefer to try to leverage Apple Health as my single source

So far best is HealthFit but could be so much better with more insights/customization!

I think the best - and free - tool for all analysis related requirements is runalyze. HealthFit and RunGap can export workouts to runalyze.
