Apple Help Slow/Crash

Recently when I open Apple's Help menu it really drags. The window opens and nothing shows up. So I open another window and then the menu shows up. Sometimes the program just shuts down and asks to send a report to Apple. Anybody encounter this or have any idea as to why it may be happening? It has also given me a message about a certain folder it access that it is having trouble with. I'm on a pc right now so I can't get the exact error message. It is a dual 2.5 with 2.5 gig of ram. Thanks.

Try deleting the following:

• ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.help.plist
• ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.helpui.plist
• ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.helpviewer.plist
• ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.helpui/
