Hi there,

I am not a higher education student - although my sister is going into uni this year and has got her UCAS letter.

If I order through this website:
http://store.apple.com/uk_edu_77705/

Will they ask me for any details after the purchase etc;?

Thanks.

If she's not at uni yet, she can get 13% at Yougo (sign in, choose money matters). Otherwise, I think you have to wait for her to actually go to uni or turn into unconditional firm with your uni choice.

While in the past Apple has been known for asking for evidence of status, at the moment I think they'll be glad of any order. I think they may do random checks, but the UCAS letter should be fine as evidence, providing you order it in her name.

I start college this fall and since I can't get on the higher education page I'm just going to call apple and place my order over the phone. I plan on doing this because I already have an iPhone and don't need another iPod

I ordered a load of stuff for my wife who starts college in October, they stated so long as she had a letter of offer accepting her onto the course.

Also gave me a secure login to the site with the discounted items.
