Apple has posted several job listings in recent weeks to fill retail positions at an under-construction Apple Store in São Paulo, the most populous city in Brazil. The company is seeking to hire Creatives, Specialists, Geniuses, Managers and a number of other positions for the store, which appears to be nearing completion based on new photos published by Brazilian website Blog do iPhone.

Apple has placed its traditional large wooden tables throughout the store, while the lighting fixtures and interior panels have also been installed. This new location will be the second Apple Store in Brazil, alongside the Village Mall store in Rio de Janeiro that opened in February 2014. Apple now has over 450 retail stores in 16 countries, with aggressive plans to continue opening new stores in China and other emerging markets.

If you the article did not state this was in Brazil, I would have said it was anywhere. I like the Apple Stores and their layout, but they are very uniform from store to store. There is almost no localization other than the occasional glass staircase (like the iconic 5th avenue one in NYC).

Not sure that there is anything wrong with this, it is more of an observation of the obvious.

If you've been to one, you've been to most. Which is nice since no matter where you are you can expect the same layout and service. I'd still love to go the westlake, regent street, grand central station, and 5th Ave cube

Being a bit sad, I've recently done a world tour of Apple stores, not actually the purpose of the holiday, but a fortunate coincidence, and visited the Cube, Upper West Side, Grand Central, Boston, SanFran, the Mothership, Honolulu, Regent street, Covent Garden, and Sydney.
Not sure the person who leaked that shot of São Paulo will avoid regretting it.

That sounds like so much fun! Which one was your favorite?

And all customers will be immediately robbed of their purchases at gunpoint in the parking lot.

There are plenty of Apple resellers in various shopping malls in Sao Paulo. There are also plenty of upscale shopping malls with luxury retailers. Shopping Cidade Jardim has a Leica store, Shopping Iguatemi has Gucci, Channel, Prada etc.

I don't think the fact that there will now be an official Apple store is going to raise the risk level. Besides, most shopping malls in Sao Paulo have fairly secure parking. I've not heard of anyone getting robbed in the parking lot of a shopping mall in Sao Paulo.
