Apple ID issues

I had to change my apple id email bc it was my school email which was expiring. I did it first on my ipad, then validated the email. However, when going to log into the new apple id on my computer or iphone it says email not validated and says click to see instructions to validate. When doing so it then takes me to a screen taht says this ID is already validated. However, it does not allow me to log in or to download any apps on my phone or ipad, what do i do?
