Apple ID on rMPB

Hey, I purchased my rMPB today from the apple store, it looks great and everything, but I have a problem. I am not sure if this problem is exclusive to the rMPB, but whenever I am required to enter my apple ID and password (when I downloaded Adobe flash player for instance), it won't accept the details that I enter. There isn't even an info box that comes up to tell me that my details are incorrect, the box just shakes.

Anyone got any ideas? Thanks for any help in advance.

It doesn't want your Apple ID; it wants your username that you've set up on the computer. If you don't know what that is, go to System Preferences > Users & Groups, and it should list your username under "Current User" on the left.

It already had my username there. I just had to change my password for some reason, it's working now. Thanks for the quick reply!
