Apple ID password change and Find My iPad

Hello.
An iPad2, 3G not active and a MacBook Pro were stolen. I changed my Apple ID password after the theft on April first. Would the change interfer with iCloud's Find My iPad function? The stolen devices are not found and continue to appear as not connected to the Internet.
