Apple ID ? problems

Hello

I have made my apple ID long ago with a gmail address, even before I got a mac. Now I have bought my first mac, and want to change my email address (still the gmail one) to my ***@me.com

That seems to be a problem? it's says that I can't change to an Apple domain address?

My ****@me.com is my secondary email adresse in Apple ID at the moment.

Any advice? thanks.

I'm afraid you can't. You can change your Apple I/d to another email address, just not an apple one. I have exactly the same issue. It's been that way for years.

That's really sad news. I wanted to get rid of all other adresses, but it seems I need to keep my gmail then
