Basically it lets you upload some video to the AVP. But it wont let you move things from the AVP down to your mac. Also, insultingly, it wont work on a 2019 28 core Mac Pro, but will on a lowly M1 Macbook Air.
Would have it killed apple to add the 3 lines of code to let you move things bi bidirectionally?
Also, would it kill apple to let me sync and move music, photos and files between the AVP and my mac like a lowly ipod? I thought this app might finally let me do that, but my mistake for thinking Apple might actually give a darn.
The huge friction to just put the AVP on, passwords i have to type in everywhere both for the AVP and itunes, it's disgusting. It's like they dont use their own devices. Give me a frigg'n option for retina authentication only.
But beyond that, forcing me to use stupid icloud and not move tons of data locally is beyond an insult and keeps me from ever using this giant dead weight.
Apple, let me sync MY data without using your stupid cloud, and without 18 flaming hoops needed to put this thing on and get to work on it. If you would do those 2 things, people might actually start using this thing.
