Well... I think this is the right place for this topic. Hmmm.
Anyway, my issue is this. I purchased a pair of the Apple In Ear Headphones when they became available last December. I really like them, the sound quality, the comfort, and the remote/mic combination.
Unfortunately, I've been finding that the ear tips keep falling out lately. They used to stay in place no problem, but now if I put them in my pocket, I'll pull them out and the tips will be gone. I'll put them in my ears and listen to music, and when I pull them out, the tips stay inside my ears. I'll go to bed listening to music, and when I wake up, the tips will be buried somewhere in the blankets. They fall off so easily that I can literally just tug ever so lightly, and they fall to the ground.
The headphones still work, but it's becoming very frustrating for me. Several times I've had to retrace my steps on campus/around town because I'll pull them out and I'll see that one (or both) of the tips are missing.
Is this a known issue? I don't want to take them to the Apple store in case I sound like a jackass since, as I stated, the headphones still work. Does this even qualify on grounds for replacement?
