Has anyone any specific experience with Apple's own in ear phones (59 GBP)? I've read so many bad reviews on Apple's UK web site that I find it hard to believe they could be so bad. I was convinced to buy a pair by Apple staff who confirmed that I could return them if I wasn't satisfied and that they didn't have to be defective to get a refund. They for a Christmas present, so Santa won't let me try them yet.

I have them and like then quite well. Especially at that price point.

I just picked a Klipsch Image S4i in-ear headset and have been quite happy with them as well.

The Apple headset has less bass but is probably more accurate. But the Klipsch has a warmer and fuller sound which I think is better suited to all but classical music.

Try them and see if you like them, if you're happy reviews don't matter. (Unless all the reviews say the headphones die after 3 months). :p

@sidewinder: I went in with the intention to buy the S4i's, hope i'm not wrong!
