Apple in-store supply?

A friend of mine works at the Apple store and informed me that they get new shipment of products every single day.

I wonder if they will have any in-store for those of us who couldn't get a pre-order through. How was the 3GS launch last year, were they always out of stock?

It does not matter if they get a shipment everyday. What matters is how many are in those shipments.

I don't think you can compare the upcoming iPhone 4 launch day with the 3gs's. There's obviously much higher demand already for the 4 since there's a new design and features. I imagine they're going to be tough to come by for the first couple months.

It does not matter if they get a shipment everyday. What matters is how many are in those shipments.

...and how many people are standing in line. not worth waiting hours for.
