Had the Apple installed protector for about a month. Looks like the glue isn't so great - it's lifting along one side but no idea why.

Not been able to go back yet until this lockdown ends..tried 'rubbing' out the bubbles but it's not working.

I am wondering If there's a slight bending/screen not perfectly flat that's causing this.

Anyone else have the same issue?

From the looks of it, it is either a defective screen protector or a bad install. My guess is the former.
It was totally perfect leaving the store - and suddenly happened after a couple of weeks.

When the lady was installing it she did say they've had a few phones that the edges have a slight bend in them - possibly where the glue is. Not perceivable to the naked eye - but perhaps this is what's happened.

Didn't pay much attention to the comment at the time but seem to remember her mentioning something about it.
Did a case peel it up?
Nope - you can see in the pic it's miles away from the edge of the case it's in. Only been that case.

I know I can get it replaced with a new one if there's a defect other than me smashing it so hopefully I'll swing by the apple store when they re-open fully.

To my knowledge, the screens are flat. If what the employee said was true about the new phones, the problem wouldn’t be limited to the Belkin brand. Belkin also has a recent history with bad screen protectors.

Order a ESR or iCarez screen protector off Amazon. Both are excellent, have install guide tool and bubble free install.

Had the same thing happen to my 11 Pro Max last year. The adhesive just failed. Got a new Belkin installed by apple store. Was good until I upgraded to 12 Pro Max.

I'd take pics, get my own from Amazon and then when your lock down ends go back and get my money back.

$10 for the protector and $50 for me not having the aggravation of crappy install. Worth every penny for me anyway!

It's 2020, you can buy your own protector and they have guides that help you install them. Instead of paying $60 to Apple for less than five minutes of work.

I did this year due to covid. Installed iCarez full screen. No dust, which was the bane of my prior installs.

personally, I don’t feel the need for a screen protector. The apple screens have come a long ways in being scratch and crack resistant
