I downloaded the 18.1 beta and requested Apple Intelligence. It’s been about 24 hours. It still says preparing. How long does this normally take?

Shouldn't take that long. Took about 10 mins for me yesterday. Is your phone on Wi-Fi? It needs a Wi-Fi connection in order to download some stuff (can't do it over cellular).
