Apple iPhone 12 leather cases have a different cut out at the bottom for speakers (pictures)

Here’s a screenshot from the Engadget video showing the leather cases in the background, prefer the cut out on the bottom of the silicone cases compared to the leather cases.

the silicone cases don’t have the cutouts, only pin holes where the speakers/microphones are and a cutout for the lightning port. maybe you know this, its just not clear from your post.

The leather cases look like they have a bigger bump around the camera cut out compared to the silicone cases. 🤔

My Sheath I got today has a vey slight wobble nothing to worry about though. Hard to tell if the Apple is bigger.

Don’t like it. I like the cutouts to leave the mic and speakers unobstructed. Also it’s easier to take out of the case that way. With the bottom lip closed it makes the phone sink in deep and harder to take out to clean and admire.

Seems that way, not sure if I’m seeing thing, the camera lens rings on the pro max seem to protrude out further than the 12 pro. 🤔

The leather case looks better without the plastic bumper around the camera. Don’t know why they added it this year. All previous versions didn’t have this plastic.

Guessing the cameras protrude out further this year, unless they made the case thicker, which would of added a lot more bulk, the plastic bump seems to be a good compromise, I agree with you though doesn’t look that good.

Ordered this too but the buttons are horrid to press. Contacted their support and they said they are actually working on fixing it.

Mine are ok, they sending you a new one?

Try pushing the buttons out a bit from inside the case with some thing flat. Might loosen them up a bit.

Strange one, guess only apple would know why they made them like that.
