I just bought an Apple iPhone 4 dock from the Apple Store. When I stick my iPhone 4S in, and just slightly push it backwards or tap it, there is a horrible, horrible click/snapping sound. It does not sound good. Does anybody else notice this with their docks?

That sound shouldn't be happening. I recommend either testing it with another iPhone 4 or 4S or if you can't get a hold of one going back to the Apple Store and testing with another one there. Then you can determine if it is clicking because of that specific iPhone or that specific dock. If it's the dock, just swap it at the store, if it's the iPhone, get a genius bar appointment.
