Hello


I am interested in buying the Apple iPhone 4 Universal Dock Adapter 3-Pack.

I am confused though, it is what I think it is right?

I think its something that goes inside a radio - Iphone dock or a Iphone speaker dock right? Something that wont damage the phone?


I plan to get 1, buy why is it a 3 pack? just incase you loose one?

So it dose not work with the speaker dock, or the radio dock?

I plan to get the Iphone 4 dock as well, but not sure...
 
It says, These Dock Adapters enable your iPhone 4 to connect to the Apple Universal Dock and other products that use the Universal Dock system.

I have a radio with dock adapters for many types of apple ipods. Shouldn't it work?
 
Radios are typically using a universal dock system. I need one for my ihome but I do t want to buy 3!

Most if not all radios with iPod docks use the these adapters (as they typically design them to so they don't have to design 20+ adapters of their own), so you can get a customized fit regardless of the device that you own. The reason they sell them in packs of 3 is so you'll have enough for all your devices; say if you have a universal dock, and a radio with a dock, and an alarm clock with a dock, etc...
 
The Send Station Dock Extender does not work with the Bumper without modification.

You'll need to grind some of the plastic away. I did this with 4 of them. Works ok if you don't mind the look of the housing after you've ground some of it away.

It is extremely overpriced, but what are you going to do if you want to use a Dock / Speaker with an Iphone inside of a case.

There is a cheaper one on eBay that I ordered last night. It looks like crap. We'll see how it works.

I have 3 coming and need 2. 1 is for a universal radio so if it works I will be glad to send the 1 I dont need to you:)

Silly question, you don't happen to have a pic of the results do you? I'm thinking about grabbing on of these, because with the bumper on, it will not plug into the DLO TransDock in my wife's CR-V, or the gianormous housing connector on the factory integration cable in my Jeep.
