I received my two Lightning to 30-pin adapters yesterday. First thing, these will not fit with most cases, but of course we pretty much knew that. Secondly, I've tried almost all of my old accessories, and so far there have been no problems. Even the iSimple iPod cable I had installed in my car works fine for charging and sound.
Like many of you, I would like Apple to make a dock for the new iPhone. Well, I've had this old dock from my 3G just sitting around which I could not use with my iPhone 4, but with the new Lightening adapter, it provides the necessary clearance and seats pretty firmly. I may glue the adapter permanently to the dock to make it even more sturdy.
