Sure enough, verified locally here for pickup. Sold and shipped by Walmart. Still $99 at Apple.

Wow - thanks for the heads up. Just bought one from Apple a couple days ago. Will return that and keep the Walmart one. Also - if you have an American Express Platinum card, they have an offer for $20 of $60 at Walmart online right now too.

Nice, thanks OP! Snagged one at that price (plus got the AmEx offer) even though I already have the Anker version. My wife can use that one on occasion as it isn’t limited to only the Air.

FYI if anyone is in need of AirPods Pro 2’s they are on sale for $139 at Walmart.com too.

That is a fantastic deal for the Airpod Pro 2's.

Oh Wow, already marked down within 2-3months since release ? That is insane!
Or is it part of Walmarts run-up to Black Friday I wonder?
My hunch is, trash sales for iPhone Air and this accessory only being compatible with that one phone means they made too many of em.

Both my wife and I jumped on that deal coming from first gen AirPod Pro’s that we have had for over 5 years. Great deal.

Snagged one! Ordered yesterday morning around 9am and it was delivered just before 5pm.👏🏼

Are there “better” (higher capacity) power banks for less money? Yes. But I much prefer the way this one functions vs those. And at $59 it actually feels fairly priced.

I wish I needed this battery since its a great deal and I like getting great deals lol. With my Air and always having access to be able to charge whenever I want and with how good battery life is on this phone I think it would be wasted money for me. Maybe if I travelled a lot it would make sense for me but I don't.

Same on both. First time ordering from them and I was impressed.

I liked the OEM model more (shape, charge status shows in battery widget, etc.) when I ordered the Anker version last month, but was unwilling to pay over twice what I paid for the Anker. At $59 (plus 25% back with the Walmart/AmEx Platinum promotion) it was essentially exactly what I paid for the Anker.

Yeah I've got one but haven't used it yet. I underestimated the battery life of the phone and underestimated how many opportunities you get to charge in a day anyway.

But at least I've got it in my travel bag. For one of those long travel days where I'm not near a charger and I've got the hotspot going for 3 hours etc. Even then I'd probably be fine, but it's good to have that peace of mind there.

I keep one in my work bag. I use one at home for wireless charging. I will swap out the other 2 as needed / weather emergency use etc.

Just curious, what is the benefit of using one for wireless charging as opposed to just plugging in the phone directly?

I can carry the phone around the house if need be and use it while it is still charging. It is also less wear and tear on the battery because the battery pack is used first by the phone when attached.
