If you choose Apple iPhone Payments is that the same as applying for the Apple Card? I assumed this was true until I started doing the pre-approval process and they asked for a credit card for Citizen One to charge. I thought Citizen One was just for the Upgrade Program. Now I'm confused.

So is the statement under the choice just a suggestion then? "Use Apple Card as your monthly payment method and get 3% Daily Cash"

It means that if you use the Apple Card to make your payments then you qualify for the 3% Daily. If you don't use the Apple card then you don't get this 3% Daily Cashback but you would get the benefits of your other credit card.

That verbiage just means that if you use your Apple Card to make the payments you get 3% daily cash. You need apply separately for the Apple Card which you can do on your Apple Wallet.

Is anyone using Apple card for IUP payments with Citizen? I’m getting payment failed invalid card email messages but it worked last month.

Yes, with the latest upgrade. I don't know if they have actually charged it yet.
