Is the phone locked to the carrier (ATT) that I chose at time of purchase? Or am I free to switch at any time since I'm financing through Apple and not ATT.

Thanks, that's the answer I was looking for. Wouldn't make sense to be tied to the carrier when they're not a part of the financing whatsoever.
