Hey, in light of all the new and cool products being released by Apple I need something to renew life into my ailing iPod Touch 4g and I'm thinking a jailbreak is in order so I can try out some of those plist hacks floating around. I've never jail broken anything before and am wondering if someone can point me to the best stuff around? 6.1.6?

p0sixspwn will get the job done quick and easy.

Honestly, the best way to get some speed back in the 4th gen touch is to run iOS 4.2.1. It was by far the fastest. But the only way to do that now is to have your SHSH blobs saved, which is very unlikely unless you know you did it way back when.

So I'd give p0sixpwn a try and follow some good guides. Just be careful what you install or it can be worse than iOS 6 is stock.
