In the movie Wall-E, one company provides everything for people.
If I have to pick one company right now that might become the Wall-E company, it's Apple.
Apple is slowly but surely using the iPhone formula and ecosystem advantage to expand to other parts of our daily lives. Phone? Computers? Speakers? Headsets? Health wearables? And in the near future, Apple game console, Apple VR, Apple Car. And maybe in the distant future, Apple House, Apple Dating, Apple Personal Airplane, Apple Nursing Home, Apple Taxi, Apple Bank, Apple Smart Marriage Ring, Apple Food, Apple Solar, Apple Spaceship.
The thing about Apple is, it has enough money and moat to survive for a long time as a company. If it survives for that long, it'll need to keep growing its large revenue base which means Apple will need to enter more and more industries.
Now you might be thinking, but Apple is only for rich people. True. But slowly but surely, Apple is creeping into the low-mid-end with devices like the $400 iPhone SE. And in addition, the world will continue progressing which means most and more people will be able to afford Apple products.
I used to think that Google could be that Wall-E company but Google simply sucks at crossing into the physical world. I don't own a single physical Google product.
Disclosure: I'm biased because I'm fully entrenched in Apple ecosystem and I own some Apple stocks.
