Hi,

My isight camera isnt working, it says "There is no connected camera".
Picture: http://tinypic.com/r/11se051/5

I have closed all applications that use the webcam. Why isnt it connecting with the application, It also dosnet work with msn or AIM.

Specs:
Model Name: iMac
Model Identifier: iMac7,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.4 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache: 4 MB
Memory: 2 GB
Bus Speed: 800 MHz
Boot ROM Version: IM71.007A.B03
SMC Version (system): 1.20f4

Please help.

Go to System Profiler by going to :apple:->About This Mac, click on More Info. Does the iSight appear when you select USB under Hardware? If not you want to do an SMC reset. This usually will get it working. If yes (to appearing in System Profiler but not to the applications still), create a test user, test with the same applications. If it doesn't work in any account, you probably need to reinstall the OS.
