Apple Issues Vacation Blackout for End of January - Verizon iPhone?

I know some here will whine about another Verizon iPhone thread but I thought this was relevant.

Apple has issued an employee vacation black out for the end of January to early February for a major product launch. What else could it be?

It could be for the iPad 2.

It could be for the iPad 2.

iPad launched in April. HIGHLY unlikely that they'll rollout the new one in just 8 months.
