I haven't heard much about this, but it's the logical successor to Vision Pro. Will they beat Neuralink to market?

My sources say that Apple is taking a different route. Rather than a neural implant (which requires extensive skull surgery) they are going with newer technology that will be part of the new AirPods Pro generation 5. The first time these new AirPods are inserted into the ear, silicon tendrils will grow out of the AirPod, bypass the eardrum nondestructively, and encase the brain's neural cortex over a period of 30 days. Once completed, the AirPods can be removed and reinserted at will. The in-ear wired connection will be invisible when the person isn't wearing the AirPods. Doing it this way is much cleaner and permits more thorough integration with larger areas of the brain. Future models of the Vision Pro will also integrate with the in-ear connection for seamless AR/VR experiences.

This is much more advanced than Neuralink, so the time to market is uncertain. It's likely that Neuralink will hit first.

You wouldn't catch them dead with an "i" prefix anymore.

Also, very creative signature... :?

I’d be happy with a powerful AR/VR experience in the size of a pair of glasses. Make it waterproof. And as much battery as today’s iPhone… I’m pretty happy with that. I’ll sell all my other electronics.

Knowing Apple, it will be a decade later than Neuralink, with more bugs, and you will keep hearing, "Here is what I found on the web" inside your head.
"knowing apple"
haha, yes, who doesn't remember how they came a decade later than their competition with more bugs with a personal computer (Apple I and II), a GUI (Lisa and then the Mac), a real smartphone, a smartwatch, an actually usable tablet, etc. /s

Grow up. This caricature has no basis in reality whatsoever

Wow, I must have really touched a nerve there to make you so defensive. I seem to have hurt your feelings, so I apologize.

I don't know what you have been through, so I will just let this be. By the way -- this, is grown up behavior.

Happy new year.
