Apple iWork9

I am pretty sure this was not designed to run on Mountian Lion but I know it can, so what do I do in terms of installing this to make it run on Mountian Lion? This is my first install of anything on a Mac and I have only had the machine for about a week.

iWorks '09 comes on a CD, thus you insert the CD into an optical disk drive (ODD) connected to your Mac and run the installer.

No, as the UPDATE is installed AFTER the iWorks installation, as the update requires an earlier version of iWorks to be present to update.
