Apple has released tvOS 15.1.1 today. Probably some bug fixes, maybe a few minor feature tweaks.

ETA: I just finished installing on my ATV 4K 2017. It is listed as tvOS 15.1.1 (19J581). As usual, it took a minute or two after installation before my new 2021 Siri remote started working again.

For me, it took three reboots - the last being a pull-the-plug power cycle - to get it to work properly after the update.

At first, everything ran at half speed.

The second time around, everything ran at what looked like double speed.

The third time, the cursor just skipped around, which completely spoiled the Goldilocks metaphor.

Pulling the AC power finally made things run ok.

This was on a new Apple TV 4K, maybe about five months old.

Not impressive. Still far less time than it took to update an M1 MacBook Air to Monterey... (First time, ever, that the unpacking, installation, and all that took more than double the download time. Also took a couple reboots after that to get things right again.)
