Had many hardware issues over 3 years of apple care

and one month after apple care expired and i get crappy performance slow read/write speeds and consistent crashes.

needless to say apple was nice enough to replace it for me.

im a happy camper :)

Congrats!

Paradoxically, sometimes Apple behaves strangely...

Just curious, what were your 2009 and current specs?

Congrats you guys!

My favourite experience thus far was Apple replacing my 2006 iMac's LCD after 4 years (in 2010) with no AppleCare ever attached :)

Wow, How did you do that?

My late 2007 Santa Rosa 17" MBP with 3 years AC died during the fourth year due to a well-known NVidia graphics issue, but they asked me to pay to replace the logic board!

Just like any other service related experience in life, it all depends on who you get.
