I have been reading that you can use an Apple keyboard with a PC so I bought the wired USB Apple keyboard at my Apple store yesterday.
Most everything works just fine, but I would like to have the function keys control the volume etc. I was under the impression that if you install the Apple bootcamp keyboard driver that it would allow you to assign the function keys to other keys -- like volume and print screen.
So, I installed the bootcamp keyboard driver from my daughter's 2010 MacBook Pro. The driver installed just fine, and I rebooted, but I can't seem to get the FKey assignments to do anything. Is there a separate program I need to run?? I tried using the fn key, the option key and the command key with these and can get the alternate assignments to work.
Please tell me what I'm doing wrong.
Thanks.
