Is there a way to tell the original Magic Keyboard from the new Magic Keyboard?

The original does not have function keys and the hinges are different. The new one has an aluminum palm rest and larger trackpad with haptic feedback.

But the wireless keyboards that come with desktop macs are also called "magic keyboards". Can you tell me whether my old Bluetooth Mac Magic Keyboard will work with the new iPad pros? It works fine with my M1 iPad Pro 12,9" .
