In the video below, I had Mr. Chen demonstrate his possessed keyboard on my computer which had no special software installed. The keyboard would actually spit out in reverse order what had been typed into it whenever the ENTER key was pressed. This showed that the keyboard was indeed modified with special firmware which can record what was typed and inject it back into the host computer.

Maybe its me but I'm pretty sure that if you install "special firmware" any device can be hacked whether its from apple or dell. The article lost me on when he mentioned that it was modified by special firmware.
 
Yes.... But the way Apple built the keyboard, any program can flash the firmware on the keyboard. It's not cryptographically signed by Apple or anything... It's just... There!
