The headset is launching in China, Japan, and Singapore on June 28, followed by Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and the UK on July 12.

Pre-orders start June 13 in the first wave of countries, and on June 28 in the second:
Apple today announced Apple Vision Pro will expand to new countries and regions, with pre-orders for China mainland, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore beginning this Thursday, June 13, at 6 p.m. PT and availability beginning Friday, June 28. Customers in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom can pre-order Vision Pro beginning Friday, June 28, at 5 a.m. PT, with availability beginning Friday, July 12.
visionOS 1.2 adds support for languages in these countries and regions.

Apple first launched the Vision Pro in the U.S. in early February, with the spatial computing headset starting at a costly $3,499 there.

visionOS 2 includes a range of new features and changes, such as a redesigned Photos app with SharePlay support, the ability to turn existing 2D photos into spatial photos with machine learning, new hand gestures for frequently used features like Home View and Control Center, a larger ultra-wide version of Mac Virtual Display that is equivalent to two 4K monitors side by side, support for a physical mouse, and more.

Dang, I don't know why but I was hoping for a price drop. Apple did this for the 1st generation iPhone within the first year.

I'm wondering if it will work with a Dutch iCloud account if I choose to purchase this in Germany.

Question: Will it still be worth buying it, with the next iteration probably around the corner

Glad to hear that it will finally be available outside US. Still expecting it to launch in many more countries before the year end.

£3500 is roughly $4400. What an utter scandalous price.
*sigh* No, it really isn't and I really wish us Brits would stop falling for this.

America doesn't include sales tax in their prices, the UK does. So you're looking at $3,499 * 1.2 for a comparable price which comes out at $4,198. £3,500 is currently $4,453 as a straight conversion so there's a $255 difference.

Some of that gets eaten up by the cost of 'doing business' in the UK usually being higher than the US (everything from fuel to energy to property costs to wages to people getting more statutory leave etc) which all has to be incorporated into the price. Will Apple be earning more profit on a UK sale than a US one? Probably, yes, but after adjusting to a true like for like comparison you're probably looking at about a 3 to 5% rise at most, somewhere around £100 tops for a £3,500 device.

Where did you get that sales tax in the US is 20%…? California ranges from 7.25-10.75% depending on county and city. Pretty sure the highest in the country is 11 or 12%.

We have no idea when the Vision Pro will be refreshed, or what the updates will entail either. So it’s really anyone’s guess at this point.
Yes - but for Germany I know, that already half a year of product life as expired, before I can even buy it (assuming, that the next version will launch simultaneously in the major markets).
I am also assuming Apple is pushing the M4 for AI, so that could further speed up a hardware upgrade.
