Apple LCD

Not sure if I am posting in the right section of the forums, I saw a while back not sure on which website full of Apple info, they were talking about Apple releasing a 40 or 50" LCD, just wondering do you think they will ever do and if so have any idea when?

I would so love to have a 40" LCD.

IMHO I don't think they will.

When I sit in front of the 30 inch ACD I still have to move my eyes across all of the screen real estate. If you go any higher you might as well sit back a couple of feet which isn't the best thing...

unless it's a tv. My 4 cents.

Doubt it. There's a limit to how much you can view at once, and the 30" already eclipses that limit for most people. 40" at 100dpi is totally unecessary.

Yes, it'd be pointless to make anything huge like that.

Not to mention the cost of it would be staggering. For working on a computer I would take 2 30" over a 40 or 50" any day.
