Apple Leather Case on Clearance at Target

Just picked one up in black tonight for $26.96 from $39.99
Thought I'd pass the word for anyone interested in checking their local Target this weekend

My Target had black, red, and blue left

Goes lovely with my retina mini smart case ;)

Mine had a blue air case for $39.xx. Didn't see any special pricing on other colors.
 
Leather Cases were $26 at my Target [Blue/Black/Tan]
iPad Leather Smart Cases were $39, Smart Covers $28 [They had several colors]

That's a great saving but i'm not surprised though, mine keeps 'snaping off' on the top corner. Don't know if this happens to anyone else?
 
Thanks OP! Picked one up at my local Target for $25. Also picked up a can on Kiwi leather protector and applied 5 coats. Hopefully it slows down the dirt.
 
Damn it! And I just bought one from Apple for $40 a month ago! Oh well.

Maybe I'll go pick up another color. I have a white 5 and a black case, maybe get a Red or Yellow.

I hope mine still has some. I'll be sad if I missed out on this amazing deal.
 
Called all the Targets in my area (about 10) and most said they had none. Only 3 had one left, all blue. Luckily, I was going to be heading past one so I had them hold it and I dropped in and picked it up. I'm going to try going to my closest Target and see if they have any or the BestCase bumpers. I really want a red or yellow. BTW, it was $19.98.

Note to anyone looking: they won't be with the iPhone accessories. Go to the electronics clearance section (usually at the back of the section or an end cap). I'm surprised, the iPhone 5c isn't on sale, nor are the iPad mini cases. However, when I was there they had 1 iPad Air Smart Case left, also in blue, for $40.

It seems my Target (a Super one) was unloading a lot of iPhone/iPad-related products (clearing inventory for new ones?) and they had everything piled up at the ends of the aisles along the far edge of the store. For the sake of variety and because I know I'll have to make another trip tomorrow, I'll see what else is around and report if the other stores have anything comparable. Although the Indianapolis area isn't exactly going to be helpful for everyone, it might give you an idea what's out there...
 
I've seen the iPhone 5S cases go down to about $20.

The blue iPad Air smart cases go down to about $23 or so. The targets I've seen had stocked up on just the blue ones, so they seem to have plenty of stock. I bought one at full price $79. Returned it for one on clearance at $50 something. Returned the $50 one for one that was on sale at $30something. Returned that one for one that was on sale at $20something.

They're redesigning all the electronics sections to make them a touch more upscale, and redoing all the mobile phone and camera displays to make them look a bit more best buy like, so tons of stuff is getting cleared out. I got the COD Ghosts downloadable combo pack (360 and One) for $20.

You paid $21.96 too much.
 
Well, went to 3 Targets today, nothing. If anyone has the scan numbers, that would make life easier looking for these. Its the number on the Clearance tag thats between the price and where it says "Clearance". Just put the color of the case and the number, like this if possible so we can all look for the colors we want:

Blue: 080 08 0159

I did pick some things out of the clearance rack though:

Belkin 5c Snap case: $5.98 (70%)
iFrogz Breeze 5/5s: $6.99 (packaging was missing, employees best guess at price)
BestCase TPU case 5/5s: $5.98 (70%)
ZAGG Smudge-Proof SP for iPod nano 7th Gen: $3.98 (70%)

Great deals are out there, you just have to keep your eyes peeled!

Black: 080 08 0160 ($19.98)

I visited a few other Targets in the area while doing some errands today - only one had the cases, most had other Belkin/Speck cases on sale, and only one had an iPad Air Smart Case (Blue, Leather), but it had no packaging - just a clearance tag on it for $25 or so...

So its safe to assume that each color is only going to be one off. We could find out which was the first in their numbering system, we could make a good estimate on the scan numbers.
 
080 08 0161 is Red

080 08 0158 MIGHT be Yellow, nice lady I spoke to said it was showing in their system as Apple 4.07 accessory Yellow with a price of $40.

080 08 0157 also showed as the same as above, but no color defined.

So, I can now safely assume these are the scan numbers. Some might be off, they will have to be tested. Just call your Target, ask to run the number, and see if it comes back:

080 08 0156 Brown
080 08 0157 Beige(?)
080 08 0158 Yellow(?)
080 08 0159 Blue
080 08 0160 Black
080 08 0161 Red

When I asked her to run 0162, it pulled as a Belkin case.

I picked up a 5/5S Black Otterbox Defender for $10.95 at my local target, it was the one with the cutout for the finger print sensor. Still a good deal I think.
