Apple leather sleeve for 12 Pro & iOS 16/17

It cost $129 when it first came out about 3 years ago so I never really looked into it. But I’ve rediscovered it on eBay being sold now for around $20.

Does anyone have experience with this case and iOS 16? What about with the iOS 17? I wonder if these later versions of the iOS have been updated to modify how the case functions. Anyone know?

I’m starting to entertain the idea of getting this case.

I got one on clearance. I don’t know who it’s for… but it works the same way they said it did. You slide the phone in and the time shows through the slot.

I've seen the sleeve for $20 and have been wondering if I want to get one. Do you like it?

The way I use my iPhone 12 Pro is this: I have an Apple leather case for it, and then I sewed my own vinyl leather sleeve for it. When my phone is not in use, I slip it into the vinyl leather sleeve. And yes, for every iPhone I've owned, I've sewed a vinyl sleeve for it.

At $20, this seems like a good deal. I was not willing to pay $129 when these things came out, but for $20 when it includes MagSafe capabilities, it seems like a good deal. But also I'm not sure. So how do you like yours?

Amazon currently has the 12 mini version for 8$. Just bought it to see if it helps reduce my screen time. Figure at this price it is worth the gamble. Curious to see if iOS 17 changes any functionality with it.

Nice. There's the Baltic Blue for the 12 Pro at $14. I wish the store still have these to try because I'd like to try before I buy. Yes, $14 isn't much but still...

I don't think it'll fit. The camera bump of the 15 pro max is quite a bit bigger, and the leather sleeve has a bump for the camera portion.
